Oliver:
-"Go Happy" (this is what he says if he is in trouble or wants you to be happy with him, it is accompanied by a cheesy squishy smile, and pushing your face into a smile.
-The boyscouts where at the church, and held the door open for us, to which Oliver exclaimed "Thank you cowboys!"
-We were taking Izzie and Allie's little friend, Virginia, to her house. Oliver kept yelling "California!" which I thought was weird, but he has been asking to go to the beach a lot lately. But after we dropped her off, he said in a defeated sad voice, "Oh, California". I said, oh, do you mean, Virginia? And he said "ya, Girginia." I guess it is smart he knew they were both states. Although, I don't think California is a very popular name for a little girl :)
Isabelle:
Isabelle has been adding soundtrack to our lives lately.
-I was hugging Allie, and Izzie walked in a broke in to a slow, dramatic version of "Over the Rainbow" before bursting into laughter.
-Oliver has an obsession with his little pumpkin, he gives it a bath, and plays catch with it (which is really him just chucking it to the other side of the room) Izzie thought is was funny that he treated it like a little friend...so she starts out "I wanna know what love is...I want you to show me ..." She thinks she is pretty funny.
Alexandra:
Allie has become quite the fashionista lately...she won't leave the house without a major put together outfit...usually knee high boots or flats, hair done with flowers or bows, matching earrings, and jacket. She likes dark colors and lace and boots... She really loves my big hoop earrings, so one evening I put them in her ears while she was doing homework.
She had to accessorize the rest of the outfit of course. I told her she could leave them in while she finished her homework. She was writing her spelling words, and said in a quiet voice, "Mom,"....yes..."these earrings make me feel powerful."

Kate! Oh my goodness! I have so enjoyed the new updates on your blog! Your kids are just so beautiful and really super stars in talent! It amazes me! Oh - so sad about Ollie hair! He did quite a job on it! Luke gave him self a "new do" this summer and it just finally is back to normal. He used scissors though so it wasn't quite as bad, but he cut a huge chunk of his bangs in front all the way down to his scalp. Crazy boys! I wish my Ash could play with your girls! She would be in heaven with all there girliness and music and dance. I feel sad sometimes that she doesn't have a sister. I am so happy that it looks like things are going well for you guys there and you all are settling in.
Let me know if you have any fun ideas or great Christmas finds -- I am starting to work on Christmas any have no ideas yet for Ashley. Also looking for cute Christams pj's :) You always find the cutest things!
Love and hugs! --Wendy
