Tinkerbell

Isabelle has been waiting for Tinkerbell the movie to come out for over a year--since she had seen it on a preview of one of her DVDs. It goes straight to DVD October 28th. But, one of the perks of living in LA are the sneak previews. So, we went to Tnkerbell at the El Capitan in Hollywood. The show starts off with an organist playing Disney tunes as you walk in. As the lights come down in the very "grown-up" theater complete with balconies and golden velvet curtains, Tinkerbell herself came out to dance and greet the audience. Then cannons explode confetti over the entire theater and then the movie began. The girls had a blast! Thanks Ava and Karli for the invite!

First Day of School

Isabelle started second grade at Ivanhoe elementary. It is a great little elementary school nestled in Silver Lake in the middle of LA. It is a cute little school that has been around for over 100 years. The parents are super involved and the kids were so nice. Izzie was taken in right away by the cutest little group of girls. Allie already misses her sister. But we are glad she likes her new school so much.

Spa-di-da!

The day before school is a day of preparation...books, new pencils, new backpack, new outfit...and of course a day at the spa. The girls went for an all out spa daycomplete with a manipedi, haircuts and styles at Spa-di-da. Gotta love LA!


Allie watched a dvd on her own personal player, and Izzie chose to play the DS both provided by the spa! Hair styles were topped off with flower clips!


The girls manicures included butterfly bath flakes and hot pink sparkle polish--and of course a viewing of "Enchanted"



Allie had the cotton candy pedi with cotton candy fizz foot bath--complete with cotton candy to eat! Izzie picked the pink lemonade pedi. Both topped their toes with hot pink sparkle polish and stickers.

All in all a relaxing and fun day of pampering at the spa-di-da!
