Nani & Papa's House

We spent the first 2 weeks of June at Nani & Papa's house during the move. Ben had to stay in Arizona to work. I hate it when we are apart. The girls had a really hard time with it this time too. But Nani & Papa made it soo fun. First, Nani hired me a part time Nanny! Jacqueline next door would come over and watch the kids so we could get stuff done. The girls had a blast and we had an extra pair of eyes and hands. And did everyone notice how I let go of the reigns and let my girls run around with scraggly hair--

Izzie and Allie found pet worms while gardening with Papa. Izzie was so excited to have her very first pet "Thomas". Thomas' funeral was later that afternoon after Izzie found him dried up in the sun. It was very traumatic.

Alexandra thought it was hilarous to have her uncles hold the cow skull while she made it do different things--eating the apple was a favorite.

Isabelle idolizes her new Aunt Morgan--who is just like I imagine Izzie grown up. She really is so sweet. Izzie wrote Tuffer + Morgan in sticks for them. They are a regular Disney movie & Izzie loves it.

The girls got spoiled by Nani & Papa, Morgan & Tuffer, and Uncle Dan too. We went to Thanksgiving point for ice cream at the ice cream parlor. We got fun jewelry and a perfect little lady lunch at "Dear Lizzies" complete with "Dizzy Lizzy" drinks! The girls had a blast. They always do when we go to Nani & Papa's. In fact when we told Izzie if anything happened to mom and dad that she would go live with Nani & Papa--she was so excited she wanted to go right then. I guess it is good to know she would be happy even if we were gone. Thanks for spoiling us all Mom & Dad! Then, as if that wasn't enough they took us all on vacation the next week!

Izzie wanted to do a summer craft project, so this is what we came up with--and of course we took it too far! But they are super cute clipboards. Hey mom--we should have taken a picture of yor new craft room furniture we made! We painted her "designer chair" with cream crackle paint and then printed a black damask pattern all over it. It turned out super cute.

Oliver is 6 months!

Oliver turned 6 months on May 24th! He laughs at everything and smiles at everyone. He is such a mellow little guy--and always patient and calm--except when he sees food. He yells at his food--no holding back! If he sees anyone with food he yells at it. It isn't crying but really yelling. This makes restaurants difficult. And he eats a ton. He finishes 3 large baby foods and still wants to nurse. No teeth yet,and content to just try to sit up. He is getting rather good at rolling. He is spoiled by his sisters and we love him to reeses pieces as Allie puts it. I can't believe he is already so big.
