Isabelle was asked to come back to Colburn in Los Angeles...it is such a great opportunity and school (it is considered the Julliard of the west coast). And we couldn't pass it up...so we fly back to LA every other month or so. (Not that you had to twist my arm :) It was 75 last time we went..I got my hair done and went shopping). Now I can get my Cali fix without living in the craziness :). Here is her first recital since we've been back...
I have always been impressed with this program...but I was reminded what spectacular kids go through here...5 are at LACMA...the premier and very hard to get into arts high school in LA. 3 won the spotlight award out of 15 awards in all of California...they are in Opera productions with the LA opera...winning national competitions in composing at 10 years old...and the list goes on. Isabelle loves them...and all of the kids and parents were so happy to have her back.
