The girl's spent spring break at the pool. They took lessons at the Rose Bowl Aquatics center...where they have taken before. They had a lesson everyday...but that was all we had planned for the day. It was nice to just not have to do anything. They had a blast. The girl's swim teacher was fun...he let them play a little too...but they improved SO much in just a week. Allie is swimming about half the length of the pool, and Izzie can swim the whole pool and back freestyle without stopping. 
Allie swims like a little submarine underwater...and then swims up for a gulp of air...she can hold her breath forever though....it can be a little unnerving.
Izzie started back stroke...she got the freestyle down...
I don't know how I feel about this float...it is like your worst nightmare to see your kids like this....so it was a little weird...
Izzie can float for days....it is more of a challenge for Allie...she is a little brick.

I love the picture of Izzie flashing us the peace sign! I can't wait for my girls to learn to swim, then I won't feel so freaked out having them anywhere near water!
Oh, i have got to get my girls in swim lessons- neither of them know how to swim a lick. Thanks for the reminder.
These picture are so beautiful. The last one of them from behind sitting together is soooo sweet. (Makes me sad that Ash doesn't have a sis.) The girls look darling as always. Ash has the same Roxy suit Allie is wearing in the first shot - it's one of my very favs and sadly she has almost outgrown it.
I love all of these pics. The girls are so big. Did they have anyone in their classes or was it just them?
