Thanksgiving/Disco Assembly

The kiddos had an assembly around Thanksgiving time. Alexandra and the kindergarten class did the pilgrim/indian thing. She was excited to be an indian. They was so cute in her little indian braids. She is toward the top left if you can't spot her.

Isabelle joined the school choir this semester. The theme they were supposed to dress up as was disco. I still fail to see how this blends with a Thanksgiving themed assembly. But, she was quite the show stopper in her silver sequined little disco number. She is in the front middle.

Isabelle has a solo at the beginning of this one. There were no mics, so it is kind of quiet. She was so cute...she was all nervous, but excited. They had auditions for solos, so she was very proud she got it.

So here is my odd, but adorable, pair. A little Indian girl and disco queen. Super cute, I must say!

Oh Kate! The girls are so darling! I just finished watching all these sweet videos and the dance recital too. I loved it all and can't wait to show Ashley in the morning. They both did a fabulous job! My very favorite was Izzie singing for church though --- WOW!!!! She's incredible! (even brought tears to my eyes) I called Dave in to watch it too and we were both just amazed! I think you definitely have a triple-threat on your hands with that cutie! I'm excited to see more posts to come too :) As you have seen I have been doing lots of blog catch up myself. I keep debating if I should change the dates back to when the things actually happened, but then think some posts might get missed. Maybe once I'm caught up I'll go back and re-date everything. :) I've been thinking of you lots and wondering how your mom is doing too. She's in our prayers.
Much Love, -Wendy

i couldn't get the sound to play on these ones, though it may be my computer. I don't know- but the girls looked pretty cute. We did a play like the indian ones when i was in kindergarten- I wonder if it was the same one. And what in the world does disco have to do with thanksgiving?? Cute, nonetheless.
