Butterflies...

We bought Alexandra a butterfly habitat for her birthday. They came as little caterpillars and the girls watched them go from caterpillars, cocoons, to butterflies. These are some pictures setting the butterflies free.

Hall of Fame Dance Competition

Isabelle had her second dance competition this weekend. She had her first solo dance. She competes in the 10-12 year old age group for both because her group is in that age group, and they can't do a solo in a younger group. She was a little nervous at the beginning of her solo, but she loosened up. Her group won 1st and showmanship, her solo won 2nd and showmanship. She had a blast. I'll post video when I get it.

Easter Dresses

Isabelle was asked to sing this song for the Easter program at church. We recorded it after church for Grandmas :)

The girls were so cute in their Easter dresses...I caught them playing in their makeup and jewelry, so I started snapping pics. And the little models that they are...it turned into an impromptu photo session. I think these might pass for Allie's 6 year old pics.

Happy Easter!

Oliver was only interested in the jelly bean trail...he couldn't believe he got candy first thing in the morning...

Ben's Grandma and Grandpa came over. I love that the girls get to know her so well. They baked key lime pie together. I think that is so wonderful that she is part of their life and they get to spend time with her.

The Easter egg hunt was fast and furious...





Oliver tried to open the eggs by chucking the eggs on the tennis court...it was quite productive.

LA Zoo

The cousins came up at the end of Spring break and we headed to the zoo.
My sister in law Steph met me with her four boys. The kids had a great time!
Since it was Easter weekend, they had Easter crafts...and real bunnies to pet...






Oliver absolutely loves his boy cousins...Andrew is so good with him.
Jimmy kept saying "CHEESE"...isn't he adorable?
After the zoo, the kiddos watched "Princess and the Frog" all cuddled up.
