I decided I needed to get beach pictures done before we left...but I only had a week left, so I decided to just try to do them myself. I haven't touched these up yet, but at least I got some before we left California. We did them at Santa Monica, our closest beach. It is only 20 minutes from the craziness of LA. The kids loved the pier and the beach was never crowded. So, I thought this spot would best represent our stay in LA.

Hi Kate! We just got home from 3 weeks in Utah/Idaho! It was so fun to catch up on your blog! Your photography is stunning! You are doing such a great job!! The beach pictures are gorgeous and the dance pictures too! Wow!!! With such beautiful subjects though you could never go wrong :) How did the move go? Are you settling in? When do the girls go back to school? Today was our first day! So far so good, except for Ashley wetting her pants at school because she thought she was not allowed to go to the bathroom. :( Thankfully she had on a fluffy skirt and leggings so no one noticed! Oh, and she told her teacher that she spilled a water bottle under her desk. Every time I think of it I can't decide if I want to laugh or cry.
