Well these are picture of our new house in LA. I took these in May, the problem is this is what it still looked like when it was time to move in. Delay after delay with the contractor and permits left us homeless for all of June and most of July! We left AZ the end of May and stayed at my parent's in Utah for couple of weeks. By June 15th, move in day, the house was still not done. So,it was off to California for family vacation--a week at a beach house, Seaworld, San Diego Zoo, and Disneyland. Now June 23rd and no house yet, my parents left back to Utah and we stayed at my brother & sister in laws house in San Marcos. Ben started his program at USC up in LA while we stayed in San Marcos. They have four boys and the cousins had a blast playing, and swimming, and Seaworld again. (My parents spoiled us with passes to Sea World, the Zoo, and Disneyland) The girls missed Ben, so up to LA we went and stayed in a hotel for a week. Then back to Mike and Steph's. Ben was roughing it at the new house with no hot water and trying to focus on his program, while trying to get the house all figured out. I almost gave up on this house, we even looked at other places to rent. But I soon remembered how disgusting all of the other houses were, small, cramped, with black mold. We really lucked out fnding this place. I think it was the only "new" house we saw in all of LA. It is in a great little artist community called Silverlake. We are a block from one of the best elemtary schools in LA. Ben is really close to his hospital and school. Plus there is a Pinkberry on the corner! Yumm! (Only the reality TV addicts that watch the Hills would know what that is) We finally started to move in last week! Hooray! There are still little things to fix, we just got blinds on the windows yesterday! But at least it is mostly done. So, after almost 2 months, we have moved to LA! I will post all of our pictures of our 2 month vacation in the next few days. I just got internet yesterday--so I have a lot of catching up to do! And I will be posting them in chronological order by changing the post date. I know I am not supposed to do this, but I am to OCD to have them out of order. So, check earlier post dates even if you thought you already did.:)
PS. Yes, the girl's have their own balcony (they are out every room) overlooking their tennis court. Hard life. Isabelle was singing out the balcony, Giselle style, and rushed down to tell me the bird's were coming to hear her sing. The birds had perched on a wire and as she sang more came. She was so excited she was going to be the famous "singing bird girl". The tennis court is a great track for the barbie car. I can only imagine them 10 years from now.

I feel so bad for you guys. You don't know what you are missing in my three bedroom, one bathroom house. Oh, and I had to throw my rice cooker and booster seat away last week because they were covered in "black mold" So, I am sorry you have to live there.
